Mashine translations produce only raw translations due to the inherent ambiquity of colloquial syntactic and idiomatic sentence constructions which the mashine´s software cannot distiguish. Translations produced by such translation programs require massive rework, which is time consuming and costly. Mashine translations in its present state of development should only be considered if the reader only wants to get a glimpse of the content. They are generally not suitable for documents to be published. This however, does not indicate that that translator is without technical assistance. Electronic Tranlation Memory Systems and Glossaries are used to provide consistency and to speed the process of tanslating.
